ONE YEAR GOALS

1)     The school will begin a unified effort to increase awareness for student study skills.

2)     Our school community (students, staff, and parents) will continue to build a positive school culture.

3)     Increase the percentage of students who meet/exceed state standards in reading.

4)     Our school will form a communication committee to enhance and foster student activity scheduling.

THREE – FIVE YEAR GOALS

1)     Sequence curriculum from one grade level to the next in all subject areas.

2)     Continue to incorporate technology throughout all subject areas where applicable.

3)     Continue the positive progress in ISAT scores.

4)     Continue to build a strong partnership with the community of Manhattan to address the needs of a growing school district.

5)     The “Character Committee” will continue to address student concerns about respect and safety based on current trends.

6)     Continue and analyze thematic units.
