Is your child interested in participating in sports at Manhattan Junior High School? If so, he or she will need to have a sports physical for the 2008/2009 school year.
Dr. Lowry, a family practitioner from the Peotone area will be at Anna McDonald School on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, and at Manhattan Junior High on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 to complete sports physicals at a cost of only $15.00 per student!
This service is offered as a convenience to our parents and students. Your child is not obligated in any way to have his or her sports physical at our clinic.
A sports physical is required before a student is allowed to try-out for an athletic activity. That is why we urge you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity.
Sports physicals are valid for one year after the date that they are completed. They must be renewed annually.
The permission slips will be distributed at both schools during the first week of May. If you have any questions regarding the sports physicals, please contact one of the school nurses.
