Principal's Message:
I would like to welcome all returning visitors as well as newcomers to the
Manhattan Junior High School web page. Our maintenance staff is diligently
working on preparing three buildings for student and staff arrival this fall. The
junior high will see a few changes this school year; among them will be the
restructuring of our lunch periods, the addition of a study skill / organization
course, and the start of an orchestra program. Such changes have become
necessary with our increasing enrollment and will help our school continue
running in an effective manner, fostering an excellent educational environment
for student success. I am eager to enter another year of working with
parents, students, staff, and the community in order to preserve the tradition
of Manhattan School District 114, "Where We Succeed Together."
