The Manhattan 114 School Board is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Ron Pacheco as interim school superintendent.
Dr. Pacheco has been the principal of Manhattan Jr. High School since 2003. Dr. Pacheco will lead the district for the remainder of the school year while providing the community with a trusted and experienced leader for our ever-growing school district.
While Dr. Pacheco is in place, we will begin our search for a new permanent superintendent of schools right away.
Also, we are very happy to announce that effective immediately, Vince Perillo will be the principal of Manhattan Jr. High School. In addition, Gina Burlison will be the assistant principal of Manhattan Jr. High School, effective immediately. We are confident in the strong leadership that Mr. Perillo and Ms. Burlison will provide Manhattan Jr. High School as we finish out this year and start a brand new chapter in August with the grand opening of our new school.
