testing

At the November Board of Education meeting, three students were recognized for achieving perfect scores on the Illinois state assessments completed in spring 2025. Students take these assessments in 3rd-8th grade. Our Manhattan students regularly perform above the state average and among the highest in Will County.

Earning a perfect score on state testing is an exceptional achievement, representing not only mastery of academic standards but also the hard work and focus demonstrated throughout the school year. The Board congratulated these students and presented certificates in recognition of their success.

William Senesac, now a freshman at Lincoln-Way West earned a perfect score on the 8th grade English-Language Arts IAR assessment. Bradley Usalis, a current 6th grader, earned a perfect score on the Illinois Science Assessment. Finally, Sedem Fiagbey, a current 4th grade earned a perfect score on the 3rd grade English-Language Arts IAR assessment.

We are proud of their accomplishments and grateful to their families, teachers, and school staff who supported them along the way. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to all students and a reminder of the excellence possible within our district.

Congratulations once again to our honorees!
