As you are aware, the National Weather Service has announced a Winter Storm Warning for the State, especially for our area and south. Significant amounts of snow are expected to fall over the early morning hours and into the early afternoon tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2nd, making travel dangerous or impossible.

Therefore, all of our schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 2nd. How the winter storm develops and how quickly it leaves the area will impact the decision for schools reopening on Thursday. A decision regarding Thursday, February 3rd will be communicated to you sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Our staff prepared for conducting an e-Learning day in the event that school was canceled due to the storm over the last two days. Information has been or will be sent to families regarding the e-Learning schedule and K-8 students will be bringing home their school devices for accessing lessons tomorrow. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your teacher if you have any questions.

Stay safe and as always, thank you for your support of Manhattan 114 schools.
