ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Bid Period 1 District 114 New Manhattan Junior High School The Board of Education of Manhattan School District 114, Will County, Illinois is accepting bid proposals for the New Manhattan Junior High School located in Manhattan, IL.
Bid Period 1 consists of cast-in-place building concrete, site concrete, steel & miscellaneous metals, earthwork and excavation, and site utilities and related items for the new middle school and site.
All bids must be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid made payable to Manhattan School District 114. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the date of Bid Opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100%. Contractor’s Qualifications Statement must be submitted at time of bid or already be on file with Pepper Construction. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for Will County and all equal employment practices is required.
There is a pre-bid meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 8AM CST at the project site, 15414 W. Smith Road, Manhattan, IL. 60442.
Sealed bids are due no later than 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Manhattan School District 114 Office, 25632 South Gougar Road, Manhattan, IL 60442 and shall be marked “SEALED BID, Attention Mr. Russel Ragon”.
BIDS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED AT THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE.
There will be a public bid opening immediately following the Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 11:00am CST
due time.
