This past Saturday, our Manhattan Junior High National Junior Honor Society students spent their morning giving back at HHH Ranch along with NJHS sponsors Mrs. Johnston & Mr. Russ. They worked together to build a large tent structure and helped feed the farm animals, showing true dedication, teamwork, and compassion. We are so proud of these students for their commitment to service and leadership in our community!

We celebrated Empathy, Perseverance, and Honesty today at Anna McDonald. Our packs gathered for game day and an assembly. So much Anna Mac Pack Pride filled our halls!
Mr. Erickson brought major excitement to PE classes at Anna McDonald this week with Glow Bowl!
The MJHS Share the Love Food Drive was a HUGE success! Our junior high students donated 2,100 items to the Manhattan Food Pantry. There were tons of laughs and many messes at their pie throwing assembly today. Way to go, MJHS staff and students!

MJHS is wrapping up our Food Drive to support the Manhattan Food Pantry, and there’s still time to make a difference! For every item donated, students will earn a chance to pie a teacher in the face!

We are collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need. Suggested donations include:
✅ Canned goods (soups, vegetables, fruits)

✅ Boxed meals & snacks

Candy Land in 2nd grade was a sweet success. Thank you to teachers and families for your support of creating this magical week for our students!
One more week until order forms are due back to Wilson Creek for the pizza set-up fundraiser! I Vouchers for pizza set-ups will be sent home with students about a week after the fundraiser concludes. Wilson Creek will earn $5 for each voucher sold! Please submit your order form by 2/28.

The wrestling team takes the trip to Coal City tonight for their final regular season meet of the year. They will be taking on Coal City, Sandwich, and Dwight. Coming off a great battle with the state's best, the demons look to continuing pushing forward for the state series starting up next weekend. Let's Go Demons!
For the safety of our students and staff during tomorrow's expected snow accumulation and hazardous afternoon weather, our students will participate in e-Learning on February 12th.

- Absences should still be reported to the school attendance line.
- All after school student activities and practices are canceled.
- Kindergarten Information Sessions at WC will be rescheduled for 2/19.
- The Board of Education meeting will take place as scheduled unless communicated otherwise.

Last week, MJHS celebrated National School Counselor Week! Mrs. Klaric, our school counselor, put together all the activities and challenges for the week, including acts of kindness, a gratitude chain, and collecting donations for the Manhattan Food Bank!
