MJHS’s Gobble Gala was a huge success thanks to the incredible work of rooms 500, 502, 503, and 505 students and staff! 🦃
Students prepared a variety of delicious breakfast items and created the invitations, artwork, and festive Thanksgiving décor that brought the whole event to life. Throughout the day, they welcomed staff with warm smiles, served with pride, and helped keep everything running smoothly from setup to cleanup.
We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and creativity—what a wonderful way to kick off the season of gratitude! 🍁🤎

Mr. Egan's HP classes did a fantastic job in the fitness center today providing feedback to their partners during their workout. Students rotated through four stations, being mindful of the cues of their movements for each exercise! Bigger, faster, stronger!

We are thrilled to share once again that our Manhattan School District 114 schools are among the best in our state! Way to go, MSD114 staff and students!

The Manhattan School District 114 Board of Education recognized the achievements of two groups of students at tonight's meeting. Three members of the MJHS Cross Country team were recognized for qualifying for the IESA State meet. In addition to the achievements of Brigid and Greyer, Ryder placed 2nd overall! Following that, three students were recognized for earning perfect scores on the state achievement tests last spring. Bradley earned a perfect score on the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). Will and Sedem earned perfect scores on the English-Language Arts Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). Congratulations to these students for their incredible athletic and academic achievements!

The annual MJHS Veteran's Day breakfast and program was a wonderful morning spent honoring and remembering those that have served our country. Our MJHS students and staff contributed in many ways to make it a special event for all of the deserving service men and women that attended!

CALLING ALL VETERANS! Join us tomorrow, November 11th, at MJHS!

Our 7th-grade science classes engaged in a lab where they learned about physical and chemical changes. When you hear comments like "I never knew school could make me this happy" and "This is the best day of school I've ever had" from the students, we know something special is happening!
