Today MJHS showed their support with a State Send-Off, as the team walked the halls surrounded by students and staff to cheer them on.

Good luck at State to our MJHS wrestling program. Two 5th graders from MIS will also be competing this weekend. How cool to possibly be (4) time state qualifiers when their careers in 114 are over. Good morning Ole MIS. A little shout out to our local Manhattan Girl Scout Troop that meets at MIS on Monday nights. When I came in this morning these little kindness & inclusiveness promotions were scattered on the lunchroom tables. Thank you girls! Things like this and seeing kids playing Go Fish at lunch is really neat to see.

Congratulations to our 9 State Qualifiers! These athletes will travel to DeKalb on Friday to compete in the 2026 IESA Wrestling State Tournament. It was Digital Forensic Investigation Week in 8th Grade Digital Media classes at MJHS! Students participated in CSI: Tech Edition, exploring technology devices inside and out. Students had the opportunity to take a part, study, and learn about the unique components and functions of various technological devices.

MJHS 7th Grade Digital Media classes recently participated in LEVEL UP: The Arcade Design Experience. Students conceptualized, designed and built their own playable arcade games. Their project resulted in bringing their games to life and transforming their classroom into a student-created arcade!
It's School Social Work Week! Throughout the year, School Social Workers navigate complex challenges and the ever increasing needs of students with their compassion, professional expertise, and resilience. Anna Mac Pack Pride Day was a blast! We celebrated all the hard work from trimester 2 with board games and an assembly. We honored our Empathetic Elephants, Persevering Penguins, and Honest Otters!

Anna McDonald enjoyed a tribute to Black History Month with a laser light assembly. It took us on a musical journey through history that highlighted the profound contributions of African Americans to our culture. What a great show!
