Yesterday was another exciting day for the new MJHS project as the steel girders arrived for the gymnasium. The building project continues to run on schedule.
Last week, over 110 students enjoyed a week of learning, creativity, and innovation at Camp Invention! Joined by junior high and high school leaders and our very own staff instructors, students entering grades K-6 engage in a full week of STEM and FUN!
Last week we kicked off MSD 114 Athletic Summer Camps with Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Cheerleading, and Cross Country! Today we began Wrestling and Girls' Volleyball camps. We love seeing all our future Demon student-athletes in the making!
The walls on the new MJHS are going up! It's so exciting to be able to see this project starting to come together. The school is right on track to open for the 2024-2025 school year.
We have exciting news for the Early Childhood AM program for the 2023-2024 school year. The program has been 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) since the day the program started in-district, but for the new school year, the program will be moving to a 5 day a week program (Monday - Friday). The hours will remain the same: 8:30 am - 11:00 am and 843 transportation has already been made aware of these changes. The case manager/teacher will be amending your child’s IEP to reflect the change of minutes for a 5 day program before the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
We are excited about this change for our littlest learners and happy to be able to move the program to 5 days a week for the 2023-2024 school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Have a wonderful summer!
